We always endeavour to process your order right away, but orders are only processed on usual Business days, ie; Monday to Friday.
We try to make it a rule not to work on public holidays!

We will advise you of the stock situation within 3 business days of you placing your order, except during holiday periods.

IMPORTANT BREXIT INFORMATION

Britain has now left the EU single market.

There has now been a Trade Agreement made between the UK and all EU countries.
However, it appears that despite assurances by the British Goverment, the deal does not actually provide Tariff-Free trade between Britain and the EU.

For all orders going to all EU member countries, the price you pay when going through the Checkout on this website will no longer include UK VAT (currently 20%).

When your Sargent order reaches you in your EU country, it should be expected that you will have to pay VAT on the invoice for the purchase, at the prevailing VAT rate in YOUR country.

Additionally, please be aware that you may also have to pay a Customs Duty - this is around 3.8% according to our information. This is not our idea of Tariff-Free trade, but of course there is nothing we can do about this.

For those other countries in Europe, but not in the EU, nothing has changed - we do not charge VAT and you will have to pay Customs Duty and Taxes when your order enters your country.

IMPORTANT:
All prices shown on this website show the price Including VAT and the price Excluding VAT.
When going through Checkout, the final Shipping and VAT charges will show AFTER you have input the Customer Invoice information and clicked NEXT.

THERE ARE NO LONGER RESTRICTIONS ON SENDING ITEMS TO COUNTRIES OUTSIDE OF THE UK:
After an initial period of uncertainty at the beginning of 2021 (due to Brexit), all shipping routes to the EU and the rest of Europe are now operating normally. Please note that for the most part, delivery times are normal, but occasionally we see an additional two or three days transit time. *****************************************************************************************************************************************************

NOTE:
The Customs formalities and VAT payments are usually completed on your behalf by the courier company delivering your order, which they then pass on to you.
Normally, they would notify you of the duties and VAT to be paid and wait for your payment before delivering.
Courier companies may charge a standard fee for doing this work - usually around 5.00 Euro.
This means there is no extra administration work for you to do, other than paying the Duty/VAT bill.

IMPORTANT: It is essential that once we have despatched your order to you, you then keep a regular eye on your email - particularly the Spam/Junk folder.
This is because the Carrier delivering your order will request payment of VAT etc BEFORE they will deliver to you.

UK DELIVERIES

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are generally in the warehouse one day a week, for processing and despatching orders; this is usually Wednesday, but may vary.

For items that are IN STOCK, for Mainland UK delivery: STANDARD DESPATCH: £10.00.

For the UK Mainland shipments should be delivered on the NEXT BUSINESS DAY after despatch, using our carrier DPD Local.
This is NOT a guaranteed service - it could be two days but that's very unusual.

For Northern Ireland, Standard Despatch has a nominal two working day delivery service and Fast Despatch is next working day.

For the Highlands, outlying areas of Scotland, and All Islands (excluding Northern Ireland), delivery can take 2-3 days longer.
The exceptions to this are the Orkneys and Shetland where delivery can take a full week after despatch.



EUROPEAN DELIVERIES

European orders usually take from 2 to 6 working days to be delivered, depending on the country of destination.

For France, Germany, The Low and Benelux countries, delivery is generally from 2-4 business days after despatch.

For Scandinavia and the rest of Europe, delivery is generally from 3-5 business days after despatch.

For Non-EU countries and Cyprus, delivery can be from 4 to 6 working days, due to customs procedures.

We only despatch goods once we have received payment in full from you or your agent.

All goods will require a signature on delivery, whether it be by Carrier or Royal Mail, UK or European.


For items that are OUT OF STOCK, you will be advised of a prospective delivery date within 2 business days of our receiving your order.
Please note - prospective delivery dates are based on production schedules and expected shipments dates from the USA and can be subject to change.

We do try to keep the most popular seats and configurations in stock, but with so many potential combinations of piping, height and add-ons, we cannot keep everything in stock.
For items that are out of stock, generally speaking the backorder time will be from 2 to 4 weeks - it all depends at which point you find us in our monthly stock order cycle.
The average is 3 weeks.

DPD (Europe)
Royal Mail (UK and Europe)
UPS (Europe)
Fed-EX (Europe)


As all deliveries require a signature, we ask that you provide a delivery address (different to the invoice address if necessary) where there is someone present during the working day to receive the goods.
You may enter delivery instructions in the 'Enter any special delivery instructions' Box on the second Checkout page.
If you request the package to be delivered without a signature, the risk for the security of the package is passed from the Courier to you.
